SH running camp Info

The week is nearly here! In one week we will be leaving for camp around 11:00am from the SH JH Field house. The trip will take about two hours and 30 min. Please let me know if you can help take runners or pick them up. Please clink on the link for the printable itinerary or look below.

SPRING HILL XC TEAM ITENERARY

 CAMP IS FROM: AUGUST 3RD TO AUGUST 7TH

CAMP IS LOCATED AT: 1180 W. Houston St., Anna, TX 75409

CAMP CHECK IN: 1:00-2:30 PM IN DINING HALL   (Leave around 11:00am from SH JH Field house)

CAMP CHECK OUT & LEAVE INFO: (THERE IS A 9:00AM 5K RACE OPEN TO VISITORS) 11:00AM LEAVE

HOW TO GET TO CAMP: WE WILL NEED TO CAR POOL THE RUNNERS TO CAMP (THERE ARE 16 RUNNERS). A SCHOOL CAR CANNOT TRANSPORT THEM THERE. Please let me know if you can drive, a few have said they can help.

PAYMENT AMOUNT: THE REMAINING BALANCE FOR RUNNERS WHO DID FUNDRAISERS IS ($190) & FOR THOSE WHO DIDN’T DO THE FUNDRAISERS ($260) *AND BOTH TOTALS HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED THE $50 DEPOSIT.

WE WILL BE TAKING ONE CHECK TO THE CAMP IF POSSIBLE. SO PLEASE MAKE YOUR CHECK OUT TO “SPRING HILL CROSS COUNTRY” AND GET IT TO EITHER COACH ALFORD OR TERRI BURNS BY TUESDAY AUGUST 2ND @3:00PM.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING? :

  • Running Attire for four days (morning and afternoon workouts). Include rain gear for rainy runs.
  • At least two pair of comfortable Running Shoes for training.
  • A Headlight (a hands-free flashlight that straps on the head. It will be used for nighttime activities).
  • Cabin Items: Laundry bag, twin bed sheets, pillow, blanket, bath towels, and toiletries.
  • Sun Glasses
  • Cooling Devices like frogg togs, Water Bottle, Sun Block and spray bottle.
  • Any needed Medications, inhalers, etc. (must be listed on Medical Release Form).
  • Casual Attire for evenings and lectures. There will be a dance.
  • Swim Suit
  • $Money$ $10 for Zip Line and there will be a camp store open with food, drinks and merchandise.
  • Cabin Decorations There will be a cabin decorating contest with prizes for the winners.
  • Old White T-Shirt for Jell-O Wars!
  • SNACKS FOR CABIN
  • UNDER GARMITS
  • TOOTHBRUSH, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, SOAP, DEODERENT, TOOTH PASTE
  • SUNSCREEN
